The responsibility for steering and co-ordinating the overall AlloStem Project and the management of its Consortium is within the remit of AlloStem Limited; a UK-based SME created solely for these purposes. The administration of the programme is divided into two parts: scientific management and project management.
The scientific management of the project controlled by the Scientific Steering Committee, which is responsible for monitoring the achievement of the objectives, milestones, deliverables and ongoing scientific strategy.
The Management Team co-ordinates with the Scientific Steering Committee all higher-level project matters and reports to the Board of Directors. In addition, an Advisory Board has been constituted to provide suitable input to the project's Board of Directors.

AlloStem Limited's organisational structure includes a highly competent Management Team, which oversees the proper functioning of the AlloStem Consortium, focusing amongst other areas on: EC FP6 compliance and reporting, budgeting and funding controls, work-group progress, intellectual property issues and dissemination programmes.
